Founded by David Nevin, an experienced beekeeper with a passion for these marvelous creatures, Brookstone Apiary has been buzzing with excitement for over four years. What initially began as a simple curiosity quickly transformed into a fulfilling and enjoyable hobby.
David’s journey as a beekeeper began with a deep fascination for the intricate world of bees. Captivated by their diligent work ethic, the vital role they play in pollination, and the delicious reward of honey, he wholeheartedly immersed himself in the art of beekeeping. With immense dedication and continuous learning, David has become an adept beekeeper and enjoys sharing his vast knowledge with others.
At present, Brookstone Apiary proudly hosts seven hives, each thriving under David’s tender care and expertise. Our apiary is home to a variety of bee species, including Saskatraz, Russian, Italian, and Carniolan bees. These distinct types of bees bring their own unique characteristics and strengths, adding a diverse touch to our vibrant community.
